Abstract
High school students often face more challenges in expressing what they know in writing than with the content itself. This article presents a practical proposal based on the analysis of exemplary responses, where excerpts from these responses are selected, projected, and dissected to guide students in crafting robust answers. It emphasizes the importance of students developing observation tools and rubrics to assess their work and promote self-evaluation. Positive outcomes, such as improved written expression among students, are highlighted, along with challenges, including student motivation and the need to involve everyone in the process. In summary, the article addresses the significance of writing in education and introduces an effective practice to enhance students' written expression in Biology, with the potential for future extension to other educational levels.
